THE ROOMS
Both the en-suite rooms at the Old Excise House are generous in size, of individual character and decor, with sea views, large comfortable beds and crisp white Egyptian cotton linen.
Each room is equipped with ‘freesat’ flat screen tv, radio alarm clock, hairdryer, complimentary wifi connection and welcome trays with fresh milk and home-made biscuits. The luxurious bathrooms have large fluffy white towels and locally made toiletries from Spirited Soaps.
Texa
On the first floor, this south facing room has double aspect sea views towards the Antrim coast and a kingsize, antique Victorian cast iron and brass bed. Furnished in pale tones it has a light and airy feel, making the most of the spectacular views. The contemporary en-suite shower room features a generous walk in shower.
Laphroaig
Next to Texa on the first floor with a sea view over the rocky shoreline towards Port Ellen and the Oa. It has a Superking bed which can also be made into twin beds. The room is furnished in natural warm tones and has a spacious feel. The large en-suite traditional bathroom with views over farmland to Laphroaig distillery, features a very generous, freestanding cast iron roll top bath, difficult to leave for those who love bathing.

Payment by cash, UK bank cheque or sterling travellers cheques only.
Cancellation policy. For any cancellation made within 21 days of arrival the full charge will be payable, unless we are able to re-let the room. If we re-let the room any deposit paid will be refunded in full. For any cancellation prior to 21 days any deposit will be refunded in full. We recommend you take out a suitable holiday insurance policy.
The Old Excise House is a non smoking property and unfortunately cannot accommodate dogs.
