At the end of your journey, a very warm welcome awaits you at The Old Excise House B&B, on the beautiful Hebridean island of Islay.  This family owned guest house is run by your hosts Ron and Emma Goudie.

The former Excise House for Laphroaig Distillery now offers guests the chance to unwind and relax in luxury bed and breakfast accommodation.  Close to the village of Port Ellen and within walking distance of the world famous whisky distilleries of Ardbeg, Lagavulin and Laphroaig.  The house sits in an area of great natural beauty on the rugged, southern shoreline of Islay.  Spectacular sea views towards Port Ellen, The Oa peninsula and the Antrim coast, Ireland can be enjoyed from every room.

The Old Excise House offers two spacious, individually designed en-suite bedrooms.  The welcoming breakfast/sitting room has a woodburning stove and guests can enjoy a panoramic seaview from the breakfast table.

The sitting room has comfortable seating and plenty of books, maps and local information about the island.  Ron and Emma are very happy to give advice to help you enjoy your stay, please just ask.
